There will be a Municipal Heritage Project Open House on December 6th from 4pm – 7pm at the Vulcan County Administration Building.  This is the public’s opportunity to discover what historical sites have been uncovered as important resources in the region.  Stop by, you may discover some things you didn’t know before.

This new and exciting program is designed to provide the entry level skill development for employment in wind park construction. The course focus will be on how the major and minor components of a wind turbine are handled and prepared on a construction site.  In addition, students will learn how these components are assembled and commissioned for wind parks.  Students will also recieve instruction and training in safe work practises and procedures.  If you would like to take advantage of the upcoming projects in your area, register for this course occuring January – April on evenings and weekends.
